The classes' meeting times are indicated above. Some are 100% online courses, through Canvas (Delta’s Online Platform) Instructors may have optional Zoom sessions, but not mandatory. For classes marked with an *, they are hybrid and meet one or two days a week, as indicated. These classes also have an online requirement through Canvas of at least 2 hours each week.
Yes, any grade level can take a Delta Class. See your counselor.
No, but you must reapply for the current term. Your Delta ID number will still be the same.
You are able to take 1-3 courses, if your counselor allows you to. You must have 3 Chavez HS courses on your schedule--i.e. you cannot pair a Delta course with a late start or early out. You must have ALL of the Delta courses added to your Chavez schedule-Including 5th period classes. For Fall 2022, courses are available that are both online (no face to face requirement) and hybrid (face to face requirement for one or two days each week). You can work with your school counselor to determine what is possible with your high school schedule.
NO, you will no longer have to turn one in for the remainder of your high school years.
